Service Terms & Policies

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

These Service Terms & Policies govern all services provided by The DeAndre Jones Foundation Enterprises (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By approving a quote, submitting a deposit, scheduling services, or allowing services to begin, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Quote Validity

All written quotes remain valid for five (5) business days from issuance.

Quotes are based solely on information provided by the client and may be adjusted if actual job conditions differ from disclosed details.

2. Deposits & Scheduling

A deposit is required to reserve labor and scheduling.

Bookings are not confirmed until deposit is received.

Deposits compensate for administrative coordination, labor reservation, and opportunity cost.

3. Payment Terms

Full payment is due immediately upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted payment methods:

PayPal
Zelle
Cash
Approved card payments

By approving a quote and providing payment information, you authorize the Company to process final payment if alternate payment is not submitted within one (1) hour after service completion.

Failure to remit payment may result in additional fees, collection efforts, or legal action.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Rescheduling may be accommodated at no additional cost if requested at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled service date.

Cancellations:

7+ days before service → 100% refund
5–6 business days before service → 75% refund
2–4 days before service → 25% refund
1 day prior or same-day cancellation → 0% refund

Refund eligibility is calculated based on the scheduled service date.

5. Additional Charges

Final pricing may increase due to:

Additional or undisclosed items
Staircases or long carry distances
Assembly or disassembly
Extra stops
Additional mileage
Extended labor time
Waiting time due to client delay

Additional hours will be billed at the agreed hourly rate.

6. Weather Conditions

If the client elects to proceed during adverse weather conditions, the Company shall not be responsible for weather-related exposure damage, including but not limited to water exposure.

7. Damage Reporting & Claims

Reporting Requirements

All damage claims must:

Be reported to the on-site manager
Be documented before crew departure
Be submitted in writing within seventy-two (72) hours of service completion

Failure to comply with these requirements may void the claim.

Claims Review

Properly submitted claims will be reviewed within twenty-four (24) hours.

8. Care, Custody & Control Limitation

The Company’s responsibility for items under its care, custody, and control is limited to the repair cost or fair market value of the item at the time of loss, not replacement value.

In no event shall liability exceed the total amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

The Company is not responsible for sentimental value, depreciation, loss of use, or emotional distress.

9. Furniture & Structural Integrity Disclaimer

The Company is not responsible for damage resulting from:

Normal wear and tear
Pre-existing damage
Structural weakness
Manufacturer defects
Particle board failure
Loose joints
Improper prior assembly

Clients acknowledge that some furniture may not withstand normal moving stress.

10. Fragile & High-Value Items

Clients must disclose fragile, specialty, or high-value items prior to service.

High-value items include but are not limited to:

Antiques
Artwork
Marble or glass items
Electronics over $1,000
Specialty furniture

The Company is not liable for damage to undisclosed fragile or high-value items.

Clients are encouraged to obtain third-party insurance coverage.

11. No Storage Liability

The Company does not provide long-term storage services and is not responsible for items left unattended, stored overnight, or stored outside the scope of scheduled moving services unless explicitly agreed in writing.

12. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for ensuring:

Clear walkways
Safe property conditions
Secured pets
Proper parking access
Disclosure of hazards

The Company shall not be liable for delays, injuries, or damages resulting from unsafe or undisclosed property conditions.

13. Subcontractor Services

The Company may utilize qualified subcontractor movers to perform services.

All subcontractors operate under agreement with The DeAndre Jones Foundation Enterprises.

14. Service Delays

If the Company is delayed more than thirty (30) minutes beyond the scheduled start time due solely to Company's fault, a one-time courtesy credit of $20.00 may be applied.

Each crew member is entitled to one fifteen-minute (15) break during extended jobs.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

The Company shall not be liable for:

Indirect damages
Consequential damages
Lost profits
Emotional distress
Loss of use
Punitive damages

Total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in dispute.

16. Mandatory Arbitration & Waiver of Jury Trial

Any dispute arising out of or relating to services provided shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in the State of Tennessee.

The parties waive any right to trial by jury.

Each party shall bear its own legal costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.

17. Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The DeAndre Jones Foundation Enterprises from claims arising from:

Inaccurate information provided
Unsafe property conditions
Undisclosed hazards
Client negligence

18. Governing Law

The laws of the State of Tennessee govern these Terms.
